} The Savannah. This Savannah is a vast grassland scattered with isolated shrubs and tress throughout the massive terrain. Despite being North, the weather here is warm all year round and the only release from the unbearable heat is the slight temperature drop during the wet season and of course the long dark nights. } Grasslands. What separates the grasslands from the Savannah is mostly the type of vegetation that grows here. The land is mostly flat with an abundance of plants and herbs but very few trees. To the south of the grasslands you will find the tall-grass prairie which is usually wet and humid regardless of the weather and to the north the short-grass where you will find it is hot and dry all year round. } The Hot Desert. On this site you will find two desert types. The hot desert occupied the north-eastern part of the island where most animals find it difficult to live due to the extremities in weathers - it's simply too hot, then too cold at night time. You will find very few animals here other than the small burrowing types... atypically a last resort to a loner. Moderator: LURCH. |

} Tropical Rainforest. The separating territory from the african-esque territories. This place is a favorite for all cats due to it's warmth, shelter, abundance of prey and it's easy access to water sources. Problems with this enviroment include over 100 inches of rainfall every year, humid hunting conditions, dangerous insects amongst other things. Moderator: LURCH. |

} Sleeping Forest. The correct name would be the 'deciduous forest' however this name seems to suit it better for come winter the trees loose all of their leaves and the forest is cast into a restless slumber until the spring comes. You really notice the change in weather once you step paw in here as the temperature is never more than 50° F. Moderator: LURCH. |

} Alpine Mountains. The mountains here are high and windy with short summer months and a promise to go below freezing during winter and cold enough to freeze even the strongest of cats at the tip. Very picturesque, lovely during the summer months and a place that any mother would be happy to raise her cubs. Moderator: LURCH. |

} Barren Tundra. Suddenly, cold. If you close your eyes and forget the cold it can almost be compared to some of the warmer areas in likeness. Its very cold, usually covered in snow and stark with little signs of life. Perfect for the thicker-pelted felines who prefer life with little company but not for those who do not know the lands. } The Taiga. At the highest point of the island is the taiga, the boreal forest. It's harsh and unforgiving, snow falls for much of the year and the dark evergreen that litters the ground is thick and deceiving. Very few mammals reside her, usually the lynx, cougars and other thick-pelted small cats can survive on a diet of birds, lizards and the occasional rabbit. Moderator: LURCH. |

} Hysperia. The land known as Hysperia is a beautiful land. On the East side of the land is where post of the small rivers and ponds are. The Flick river also starts here. It runs throughout the entire land. In the Eastern parts, the vegetation is mostly brush on the ground and a few trees here and there. On the North side is were the mountains are. The mountains are covered in dense vegetation. There is were the trees grow tall, but not nearly as tall as the West side. The Northern side is were a great deal of vines grow, curling around one tree and then going to the next. Along with the vines, a small river flows down hill. This small creek is freezing since it runs down from the tops of the mountains. Moderator: LURCH. |

} Fraternitas. The land in which makes up the Fraternitas Pride is one of little green. Said green only lasts in the spring before the summer sun leaves the tall grass a brownish yellow. Where there isn't grass, there is either sand or dirt. There are many trees, yet they stay spread out in the territory, and you never see more than five clumped together at a time. A small river cuts the territory in half, and the most green you can find at any given time resides around said river. The river is the main source of life in this land, and many herds of prey animals tend to stay around it. The spring is filled with showers of rain, flooding the river on most occasions. The summer proves unforgiving, with drought and harsh sunlight, yet the occasional rain ends up in a storm lasting a few days. Fall has few showers, and the temperature doesn't drop too much. Winter is snow-less, and the temperature doesn't differ much than in Fall. While the day is scorching hot, the night is cool and comforting. Moderator: LURCH. |

} Cicero. Cicero itself is a mixture of forestry and mystery. Situated close to the Alpine Forests it's mostly cold with little promise of heat except in the Summer months when it's climate is humid, wet and lively. Many in-built rock formations around the foot of the mountains make adequate living spaces for the creatures that live here. Dominating the center of the territory is a huge river about a quarter of a mile wide, shallow in some parts enough to swim and fish but deep and misleading in others. Despite its ideal setting bears and wolves enjoy this particular prey-filled area making it perilous to the young and inexperienced. Moderator: LURCH. |

Irmeli is directly split in half, the first half if a very thick forest which stays a brisk cool tempture all year round thanks to its ability to block out the sun, mean while the other half is much like the plains like you would find in africa with a river running directly through the center of it, the river supports all kinds of life, prey and predator alike.
